Gabriel Dell (October 8, 1919 – July 3, 1988) was an American actor and one of the members of what came to be known as the Dead End Kids/East Side Kids/The Bowery Boys. Gabriel made two appearances on Sanford and Son, first as a bank robber who drops by the junkyard and threatens Fred and Lomant at gunpoint looking for a suitcase filled with $70,000 in cash from a bank robbery that he stashed in the yard in the episode titled "The Suitcase Case" in Season 1, then as the leader of two Rent Party Gangsters who strongarm their way into persuading Fred, who was throwing a rent party to help pay bills, into entering the party business, again at gunpoint, in episode titled "The Big Party" in Season 2

Born Gabriel Marcel Dell Vecchio in New York City, Dell almost made his stage debut a few years before Dead End when he and his sister were slated for roles in The Good Earth with Alla Nazimova and Claude Rains.

Death[]

Dell died in North Hollywood of leukemia in 1988 at age 68.
